Day 20 Friday July 13

A day off! Magic's service was not done until 3:00 this afternoon, so we booked the motel for another day. Took a side trip ( by taxi - how very different for us) to Cabela's. Spent hours there looking at literally everything and walked out with only a replacement for our broken hobo knife! Saw many more animals than we have on the rest of the trip, but they were all stuffed, so they don't count!

Jules went to pick up the bike and I read. Relax! He also went shopping to outfit us with wine and cheese. Scoped out a cool Sushi Go Round restaurant where we ate an amazing dinner.

When we left to walk back to the motel, about 250 yards away, the sun was shining. But as soon as we started to walk, all hell broke loose - deafening thunder simultaneously with lightening striking all around us. Hail started just as we ducked into the closest entrance to the motel. Luckily, Magic was sheltered under the entrance or the hail would have done damage. We came "home" safe and dry!

Who's to say that the only adventures are on the motorcycle!
